Had a busy busy week at work - How's a 51 hour straight shift feel [frakking knackering I can tell thee] So I am captain chill this morning. Catching up with the blogging and a few other jobs that I MUST finish. But I have the 'final five' episodes of Battlestar Galactica to watch later so that will be good. After alomst a month being beardy I got frakked off with it and had a shave last night - feels good to be clean again but I enjoyed the experience of having a beard for the first time and it made me realise that I don't have to be shaving all the time as it's not that bad actually. A bit itchy maybe but that's about it.

Still We all have saturday to look forward to as it is 'PARTY AT DAVE'S' that evening and people will be flocking from far and wide to celebrate Dead Happy Dave's Bidet with him so it should be a groovy night! So, forget the pubs and clubs of Thanet -on Saturday Thanet's premier nitespot will be at dead Happy Dave's house!! If you have an invite covet it as it is worth it's weight in gold. Complimentary debauchery only between 2 and 3am! No drink, No entry! :P

I will be the official tog for the evening and will post the evidence [sorry] photographs here afterwards.

In other news - I now have my google wave up and running and it seems to be a great little app. I like the way that it combines email and IM's and multimedia in a single message. We'll have to see how it pans out during the beta but I am quite excited about it.

We're off to see Frank side Bottom this evening - I can't believe my luck! [Insert Heavy dose of sarcasm] But It should be good even so.

Last night was fun even if, both Dave and I, were a little tired. We wandered down to North laines and found the Nelson a lovely little boozer -and Dave ordered what he thought was a Pint of Bitter [His usual pint of old farmers bollock scrapings fermented into a beverage] But he had in fact ordered a lovely cloudy glass of cider Oh how we laughed LOL. Off out now to see what's about. If only to get away from the dodgy looking Damp stain on the ceiling of my room . I wouldn't expect anything less in a seaside hotel room.

OOOhh bloody hell what would my life be like if bloody technology actually worked [oh that would be a mac then] except that the super drive on my macbook has just gone up the wall and both my lappy and my desktop both contraacted the computer version of [delete as applicable] monkey/cat/dog/rabbit/iguana/bird FLU and I have spent basically the last 2 days just getting my computers to recognise the fact that they are in fact computers GRRRRRR to the nth degree!!!

Together with having a nasty bout of man flu myself it has not made for a pleasant time. Still there is good news after all that woe. Now that the pooters are running I have found some time to work on my pro web projects as well as fit in some work on the furious photograph site. so all good I suppose

Trapped in the Flat with only my memories for company... This afternoon, feeling bored and as if the world would die if I ventured outside, I set about giving myself a photo project. So I wandered high and low around the converted warehouse that is our abode and shot some of our stuff [and the cat; not literally you undertsand] and thought i would post them to my ickle blogette. I am quite desperate to get out and do some more shooting but work commitments are a fecking pain in the ass frankly and I haven't had time to pass wind of late. Still mustn't grumble. I am looking forward to my new camera tattoo at the end of next month but i shouldn't hold my breath until then. Oh, heavens no.

The lense on the G1 is particularly bad at low light well as i mentioned in an earlier post in any situation that isn't lit by the full force of the midday sun. But this when it show's up it's lomo like qualities. If only the native colour was better but hey what ya gonna do it's a phone camera right.

New G1 Photos

It has been a while since i posted anything new to my blog so I thought it was time to do so. I have cleared off my phone mmc cards and for the life of me coudln't remember taking half of these pictures. But I like the camera on the Google phone as it is of such poor quality as to render it completely useless in anything other than midday sun. you can however get some interesting effects from it's painfully slow native shutter speed.

As seen here [this image was hot while on a weekend break in Newquay, Cornwall]
